Dr. Gina Collins Mancini is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. She graduated in 2000 and continued her training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine as well as a prosthodontic private practice in Cambridge, MA. She moved back to North Carolina and has been practicing in the local area for the past eight years.

She is a member of The Onslow County Dental Society, American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society. She enjoys spending time with her three children and has a great passion for dentistry and making sure all of her patients are well cared for.

Hi there, I'm Dr. Savanna Fonkert. I am the associate dentist at A Beautiful Smile and I am excited to be a part of such a great team. I am originally from Buffalo, Minnesota and went to North Dakota State University for my undergraduate degree. During my time at NDSU, I had the opportunity to volunteer in rural hospitals in South Africa. I worked alongside medical doctors and dentists, which ultimately sparked my interest in dentistry. I am very artistic and enjoy working with my hands, so I think I hit the jackpot with the perfect career! I graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with honors and met my current partner during my time in dental school. He is a US Navy dentist stationed at Camp Lejeune. We have enjoyed North Carolina so far and spend lots of time on the beach. I am a member of the North Carolina Dental Society and American Dental Association. As a detail-oriented and compassionate practitioner, my goal is to provide quality dental care that focuses on the patient's concerns and boosts confidence.

I was born and raised right here in Onslow County. My dad was a Marine and retired after serving 26 years as a helicopter pilot. I grew up a country girl and graduated from Richlands High School in 1999. I went on to obtain my dental hygiene degree from Coastal Carolina Community College and graduated in 2001 and have been working locally since. I married my high school sweetheart in 2001, and God blessed us with our son in 2009. I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors hunting and fishing. I love the career I have chosen and enjoy serving my local community and church. I joined Dr. Mancini’s team in 2011 and couldn’t ask for a better place to work!

My name is Tricia, and I was born a military brat in Hawaii. Being in a military family we moved around a lot, but Richlands, NC is my home. I graduated from Richlands High School in 1998 and then attended the Dental Assisting Program at CCCC. I went on to work as an orthodontic assistant while going back to school for Dental Hygiene. I graduated from CCCC, Dental Hygiene in 2002. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with Dr. Mancini since I graduated!

I married my best friend, Bill in 2003, and we have a little girl, Carly Paige, born in 2006. She keeps Bill and I both on our toes!! I have been truly blessed with the most amazing family, both at home and work. As you will notice we are one big happy family here! When I am not at work I enjoy hanging out by the pool relaxing or watching Nascar with my hubby! Go Dale JR!!

Hello, my name is Heather! After receiving my education in San Diego, California, I became a Certified Dental Assistant in June 2003. I moved to North Carolina in June of 2004 and have been working for Dr. Gina Mancini for 10 years.  When I am not spending time with my daughter Taylor, I enjoy working in the yard, spending time with my friends and family, reading and going to the movies.

Hey there!  My name is Samantha, and I was born and raised in the suburbs of St Louis, Missouri. “GO CARDS!”

In 2005 I graduated high school and married my high school sweetheart, Tony, who is a US Marine.  We have moved around every 2-3 years since then and have been stationed in North Carolina, Oklahoma, Hawaii, and Iowa.  We recently moved back here to Jacksonville in July of 2017.  We have two beautiful children.  Our daughter, Kierstyn, was born in 2007 here, in Jacksonville, NC and our son, Blake, was born in 2011 in Lawton, OK.

I like to stay busy and enjoy spending my time hanging out by the pool, collecting treasures along the beach, and most importantly being with my family and friends.

I came to A Beautiful Smile in the Fall of 2017.  Prior to working here as the insurance coordinator, my background was primarily in the medical field.  I have enjoyed transitioning from medical to dental.  I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with, and I am so grateful to be a part of it!

Hey! My name is Missy, I am actually a military brat myself(USMC) I was born in Beufort SC a few moons ago. I grew up in Eatonton, Ga and graduated from PCHS in 1990. I married my somewhat HS sweetheart in March of 1993. He joined the USMC, which brought us right here to the beautiful NC coast. We have 3 sons whose names are Ashton, Aaron, and Ethan. They have been my greatest joy. If I am not here, I am working out, at church, or hanging with my family. I had worked in the medical field for 7 years then I had this awesome opportunity to transition into dental. I will always have a smile for you and am here to make your experience a smile to remember. A Beautiful Smile has so graciously made me feel like family, come join us too!

Hey! My name is Elaina, I was born and raised in Apple Valley Minnesota, in 2019 I graduated from AVHS. I started my love for the dental field in my home state of Minnesota where I worked as a sterilization tech. What got me into the field is my mother and sister are both in the dental field with me.  I plan to follow the path of my mother and sister and become a dental assistant as well! In 2019 I married my high school sweetheart and we have been together happily for the last few years.  He became a US Marine and we moved to North Carolina in 2020. North Carolina has become my home over the last two years but the Minnesota girl will always be inside of me.  On the days I don’t work I love being by the water or playing with my two dogs at home, or hanging out with family and friends. I love working at this office because of the great atmosphere and my amazing coworkers! I look forward to setting up an appointment for you! 

Hi my name is Krissy! I was born in the Philippines and grew up in Okinawa, Japan due to my father being in the military. I returned to North Carolina shortly after graduating Highschool and  met my soulmate/husband here in Jacksonville while he was stationed at Camp Lejeune, the rest is history! We have 5 beautiful children 1 boy and 4 girls. Our son is graduating from NC State, spring 2023 and our oldest daughter is in her 2nd year at UNCG! 

I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading, gardening, traveling, and being active in our church. 

I have been in dentistry 20 plus years, and I’ve loved every second of it! I started out as a Dental Assistant and continued to become a Dental Hygienist graduating from CCCC. I actually had the pleasure of working with Dr. Mancini as a Dental Assistant while I was attending CCCC for Dental Hygiene school, and then filling in as a Hygienist once I graduated! I absolutely love working with Dr. Mancini and I am so happy to now be a part of A Beautiful Smile!!
